The Ruskin School of Art
The Ruskin nurtures and develops fine artists through an undergraduate (BFA) and postgraduate (DPhil) programme. The art school, now recognised as the leader of its kind in the UK, is a dynamic department within the University of Oxford and continues a tradition of teaching art at Oxford, that began with John Ruskin in 1871. Now a contemporary and ambitious art school, the Ruskin also offers Short Courses for artists who wish to enhance and develop their studio practice.
