Outline of course content

Day 1: Overview of publishing; authorship and acknowledgement; planning a publication; choosing a journal; reporting guidelines

Day 2: Thinking about writing; writing the methods; writing the results

Day 3: Writing the discussion, introduction, abstract, title and cover letter                      

Day 4: Revising your rough draft for language and style; dealing with peer review; disseminating the article after publication; what editors want (panel chat)
