OU Cave Club trips

Trips in Trinity Term provide great opportunities for new and experienced members alike to do some interesting caving, often in slightly smaller groups that in the other terms.  Our trip plans include Mendip, Wales, the Forest of Deans and Yorkshire.

If for safety and logistic reasons we are unable to accommodate anyone on a trip, we'll let them know in advance, and prioritise them for a place on a trip later in the term.

Description

This trip will take place on the weekend of 3rd-5th April.

We will be exploring two mines — Croesor Quarry and Cwmorthin —featuring several SRT, zip lines, and crossing a blue underground lake on a small boat.

Note: As this trip could be challenging for beginners, to attend this trip, you must have joined at least two caving trips and be SRT trained.
