Events Courses and Workshops associated with the Department of Biochemistry UK Archaea Workshop 2027Description11-12 January 2027, at Trinity College, Oxford. contact tobias.warnecke@bioch.ox.ac.uk The next UK Archaea Workshop will take place 11-12 January 2027 at Trinity College Oxford. We aim to bring together scientists at all levels of seniority who are excited about studying archaea, using structural & molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, computational approaches and beyond. As per our long-standing tradition, we are not inviting hand-picked speakers but encourage scientists from all career stages to put themselves forward, with an emphasis on fostering and deepening connections and catching up with members of the community. Historically, it has been an excellent venue for PhD students to give their first ever conference presentation. The workshop will kick off after lunch on Monday 11 January and end with lunch on Tuesday 12 January, with the conference dinner being held at Trinity College. Registration for the event will cover your participation and all meals but note that participants will need to secure their own accommodation for the duration of the workshop!
