This condensed, Neuroradiology-focused version of the Oxford Clinical Neuroimaging Course is a fully online, CPD-accredited, self-paced course illustrating how modern brain MRI informs clinical decision-making.  Developed by Oxford neuroimaging scientists in collaboration with consultant clinicians and international experts, the course bridges the gap between broad clinical teaching and highly technical courses. Designed to fit around busy schedules, the course offers 1 year unlimited access to all materials. The course includes:
•    Lectures on concepts and clinical uses of brain MRI
•    Interactive 3D brain anatomy
•    Complex clinical case studies
•    Optional hands-on imagine analysis using research software (FSL)

Who is the course for?
The course is designed primarily for clinical trainees and other health professionals with an interest in MRI.  It may also be of interest to neuroscientists interested in clinically translational applications of MRI. The course assumes basic familiarity with MRI and general medical / neuroscience terminology as would be encountered in healthcare settings.

Short course contents:
Through 20-25 hours of lectures, tutorials and case presentations, this short version of the course covers practical aspects of clinical brain MRI from the perspective of neuroradiology (compared to 50+ hours in the broader multidisciplinary version of the course).  Topics include:
•    Introduction to Brain Anatomy and Function
•    Interpreting Clinical MRI
•    Advanced MRI in Clinical Practice

Up to 20 credits are available on completion of a knowledge Quiz. Completing this short course will take approx 3 long weekends (1 module p/ weekend) or approx 6 months (at a rate of 1 lecture per week). The Full course is separately available, as are 2 other short versions which focus on Neurosurgery and Clinical Neurosciences, respectively (please see separate registration pages).
