DescriptionIn partnership with BFRB UK & Ireland, the Oxford BFRB Conference 2026 will bring together researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience of Body‑Focused Repetitive Behaviours (BFRBs). Across three days, the event will explore cutting edge scientific research, clinical practice, and lived experience perspectives, with a particular focus on the relationship between skin, hair, brain, and behaviour. Days 1 and 2 (8–9 October) will feature talks from experts across dermatology, psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, and the BFRB community, exploring the skin–brain relationship, clinical management, and lived experience perspectives. Day 3 (Saturday 10 October) will be a smaller Community Day designed for people living with BFRBs, and their family and friends, to connect and share in a relaxed and informal setting. Activities will include creative sessions, optional wellbeing activities, support groups, and a summary of key themes from the scientific programme. If tickets are sold out on the Online Store, please email bfrb@psych.ox.ac.uk to be added to the waitlist. More info and programme available at https://www.bfrbcon.org including full information on how to submit an abstract for a flash talk or poster. Online tickets are also available the first two days: all sessions will be streamed via Teams with opportunity for online attendees to submit questions live.
