Womb transplantation - The frontiers of fertility restoration, surgery & innovation Join Prof. Richard Smith and Miss Isabel Quiroga, pioneers of UK Uterine Transplantation, as they take us through their groundbreaking 25-year journey to bring the hope of fertility to thousands of women. In 2023, they performed the country’s first Womb transplant. Womb transplantation is a rapidly developing field where surgical ingenuity, innovative fertility and transplant science together with complex ethical challenges meet to deliver carefully considered yet transformative change.
Members (students and fellows) are welcome to invite up to 5 guests to each Dining with Dinosaur event. To attend the dinner, you must attend the seminar.
