LingO 2025 Registration

Description

The Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics at the University of Oxford will host the Oxford Postgraduate Conference in Linguistics (LingO) on June 25-26, 2025, at The Ship Street Centre, Jesus College, University of Oxford.

Early bird tickets are available until April 30 at a discounted rate of £15 for Oxford members and £20 for standard attendees. After this date, tickets will be priced at £20 for Oxford members and £25 for standard attendees.

We warmly invite you to join us for two days filled with engaging talks and insightful linguistic discussions!

26th Diachronic Generative Syntax Conference (DiGS26)

Description

The Diachronic Generative Syntax conference has been running since 1990: at first every two years, then annually since 2008. It is a forum for people to present work on diachronic and historical syntax that is informed by, and informs, generative syntactic theory. The conference fee includes attendance to all sessions, coffee breaks throughout the conference, and a cold lunch for full days 

Please note the Conference Standard Fee Early Bird rate will end on 30th April after which the following fees will apply.

III Catalan Linguistics at Oxford (CLoX3)

Description

The III Catalan Linguistics at Oxford Day (CLOx25) will to bring together researchers in the linguistics of Catalan, in all its subfields (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics, etc.) and from all possible perspectives (theoretical, experimental, dialectological, sociolinguistic, etc.) to discuss their research and encourage collaboration amongst all those working on this language in a friendly and productive atmosphere.

Contributions in both English and Catalan are welcome. The meeting will be held in the historical Taylor Institution Library, and will count with an opening talk delivered by Prof. Manel Pérez Saldanya (Universitat de València), a key figure in diachronic Catalan linguistics.

The meeting is scheduled to be held in-person. A sandwich lunch and light refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and a dinner will be organised for those wishing to attend.
