Oxford KIR Workshop 2026

Description

An international gathering of scientists studying the killer-cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIR). It will cover topics such  evolution, immunogenetics, immunology, reproduction, population genetics and method development.

Location: Cohen Quadrangle, Exeter College, Walton St, Oxford, OX1

Accommodation: We have reserved single en-suite 'student rooms, on site. Two nights for £200, available to select at checkout. Please see the 'Additional Information' tab for alternative accommodation details.

Description

Following feedback from the recent Staff Survey, we are pleased to offer a new interactive training sessions focused on Psychological Safety across the Finance Division.
Survey responses highlighted the importance of workplace engagement, openness and supportive behaviours in building a positive team culture. This training is part of our commitment to providing the resources and support needed to strengthen those behaviours and create an environment where everyone feels safe to contribute, challenge and share ideas.
Delivered online in small groups, the 3 hour online session will explore: 


•    What psychological safety is and why it matters
•    The impact of psychologically safe vs unsafe environments on wellbeing and productivity
•    The role of leaders in creating safe team cultures
•    Common barriers to psychological safety
•    Practical actions individuals, teams and leaders can take
•    Tools, scripts and supportive language to promote positive engagement
