We're here to help! Taught by writing and methods experts from the UK EQUATOR Centre and Centre for Statistics in Medicine, this course covers all you need to know to plan for publication and write up your health-related research study.

The course runs over four Mondays, with sessions taught 9:30 – 13:30 BST (GMT+1)  over Zoom. Course overview:
Day 1 (Monday 5 October): Overview of publishing options; authorship and acknowledgement; planning a publication; choosing a journal; reporting guidelines; 
Day 2 (Monday 12 October): Getting started with writing; writing the methods and results
Day 3 (Monday 19 October): Writing the discussion, introduction, abstract, title, and cover letter; 
Day 4 (Monday 26 October, start 9:30 GMT): Revising your rough draft for language and style; dealing with peer review; disseminating the article after publication; what editors want

Cancellation policy: 
Course registrations are not transferrable. You may cancel your order at least 2 weeks before the start of the course. We will refund the following proportions of the course fee. The periods reference the day on which we receive your notification of cancellation:
•    Cancellation requests received more than 4 weeks before the start date: 100% refund
•    Cancellation requests 2-4 weeks before the start date: 50% refund 
•    Cancellation requests less than 2 weeks before the start date: 0% refund
