Course Description

The course runs over four Mondays, with sessions taught 9:30 – 13:30 GMT+1 over Zoom

Monday 23rd June - Day 1: Overview of publishing; authorship and acknowledgement; planning a publication; choosing a journal; reporting guidelines

Monday 30th June -Day 2: Thinking about writing; writing the methods; writing the results

Monday 7th July - Day 3: Writing the discussion, introduction, abstract, title and cover letter         

Monday 14th July -Day 4: Revising your rough draft for language and style; dealing with peer review; disseminating the article after publication; what editors want
