We are delighted to be celebrating 10 years of the MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine (IHTM). The reunion event will be a tremendous opportunity to hear about developments in the global health space and connect with our growing IHTM alumni network, currently representing 65 countries. We will be showcasing the impact IHTM has had over the last ten years, including presentations from a range of inspiring IHTM alumni about their work in low resource contexts and conflict zones.
Over the two days, we will be providing opportunities to explore alternative approaches to global health, leadership, and health innovation and explore other contemporary issues in global health. The event offers a forum for collaboration and discussion with inspirational speakers. We are especially honoured to have the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Irene Tracey, and the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Education, Professor Martin Williams, join us in celebrating the impact IHTM alumni have had in their respective communities around the world.
The two-day event starts at 9am on Friday 25 April and concludes with a formal dinner on Saturday 26 April, 2025. Lunches and dinners are provided on both days. The full programme will be available nearer the time. Attendance is free for IHTM alumni (with costs covered by IHTM) but excludes travel and accommodation costs which are to be met by attendees. We are working to help raise funds for travel bursaries for those otherwise unable to attend.
