A practical hands-on simulation-focused course for early stage surgical trainees targeting the core principles of fixation in shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist trauma. Course Description

The Principles of Fixation programme is designed specifically for the earlier stages of surgical training, providing practical and relevant education that fits seamlessly with your clinical rotations, highlighting the essential principles plus tips and tricks for fracture fixation so you can get the most out of your cases and training. With a focus on fixation techniques of the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist, the course offers a clear and structured foundation in extremity trauma that you can apply immediately in practice. You will develop your skills through hands-on workshops, case-based discussions and guided learning that strengthens your understanding of the core principles behind reliable upper-limb fixation.
