Description

The Summer School course, directed by Prof. Sabina Alkire, will run from 20 to 31 July 2026 at the Universidad Latina, in San José, Costa Rica. During this two-week course, you will receive a technical introduction to multidimensional poverty measurement and will learn how to construct and analyse multidimensional poverty measures. This is a great opportunity to gain technical skills and to connect with a global network of professionals and academics interested in multidimensional poverty reduction.

We encourage you to apply if you are working on or actively interested in gaining skills in multidimensional poverty measurement. The Summer School is particularly relevant to academics such as researchers and doctoral students, or professional staff of governments, international organisations, and development institutions which deal with poverty reduction, sustainable development, or wellbeing.
