DescriptionThe III Catalan Linguistics at Oxford Day (CLOx25) will to bring together researchers in the linguistics of Catalan, in all its subfields (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics, etc.) and from all possible perspectives (theoretical, experimental, dialectological, sociolinguistic, etc.) to discuss their research and encourage collaboration amongst all those working on this language in a friendly and productive atmosphere. Contributions in both English and Catalan are welcome. The meeting will be held in the historical Taylor Institution Library, and will count with an opening talk delivered by Prof. Manel Pérez Saldanya (Universitat de València), a key figure in diachronic Catalan linguistics. The meeting is scheduled to be held in-person. A sandwich lunch and light refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and a dinner will be organised for those wishing to attend.
