We look forward to celebrating your graduation from the MSc in Taxation on 14th November 2025 at Balliol College!

Ticket purchase information

• Students can purchase their own tickets (maximum one per person) at a cost of £60.00
• Students and/or friends and family can purchase Guest tickets on a first come first served basis at a cost of £89.40 per ticket. There is a maximum of one guest ticket per student, so everyone has a chance to invite guests. If, closer to the dealine, there are unsold spaces available, we will notify you so that you can invite additional guests.

Ticket cancellations and full refunds

For all types of tickets, cancellation/full refund requests will only be processed if received before Sunday, 19th October 2025.

Graduation Event for the 2024-25 Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice cohort.

The event is taking place at The Royal Society (6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AG) on Thursday 30^th October.

Schedule: 

5:30 PM - 6 PM: Arrival

6 PM: Graduation ceremony

Graduates of the 2024-25 cohort are invited to receive their certificates on stage.

7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Alumni Reception

All attendees are invited to join the drinks and canapé reception.

Dress code: Business/Cocktail attire

Ticket purchase information

1. Students can purchase their own tickets (maximum one per person) at a cost of £25.00.
2. Students and/or friends and family can purchase tickets on a first come first served basis at a cost of £40.00 per ticket. There is a maximum of two friends & family tickets per graduate, so everyone has the chance to invite guests. If, closer to the deadline, there are unsold spaces available, we will notify you so that you can invite additional guests.

The tickets can be bought until 6pm on Thursday, 9^th October 2025.

Please note the tickets are non-refundable.

Please be informed that before the checkout, you will be asked whether you consent to have your photo taken during the certificate ceremony and alumni reception. Photos will be shared with all attendees after the event via an online portal. Under the Data Protection Act 2018, a photograph or film clip of you constitutes personal data and, as such, will be kept in accordance with the provisions of that Act. By choosing ‘Yes’ you will agree to be filmed and photographed and for the materials to be kept by the Faculty of Law and, where relevant, to be shared with and processed by the University and other departments for use in Law Faculty publications and on the website, and in similar Faculty or University publications where appropriate. Images will be held and used in publicity for up to 3 years.
