Detailed Description

We currently have members from 19 European countries and more than 30 institutions https://euroohnet.org European countries face similar challenges in sustaining effective health care systems, such as sociodemographic changes (older, sicker populations, increasing migration), and skilled labour shortages.

Challenges to accessing primary health care during office hours often result in patients seeking same day care elsewhere in the system, often out of hours (OOH). These challenges can sometimes be due to lack of accessibility and timely availability of their own GP, or difficulties in navigating increasingly complex systems. Our network aims to collaboratively identify the strengths and weaknesses of different organisational models across Europe and to exchange knowledge to support future innovations and address common barriers to change. Any interested parties are welcome to attend our meeting.
