The parent trees are thoughtfully selected by age, size, character, form, history, and folklore. They are between 300 and 1,000 years old. By using these oaklings in Bear Wood we aim to connect it with the stories of these veteran trees.
For a very significant tree, such as that planted at the Botanic Garden for its 400th Anniversary, please get in touch with us on wytham.woods@admin.ox.ac.uk to discuss. For more information on the parent trees, please visit www.mightyfineoaks.com. |
