This session aims to provide an opportunity to explore the place of effective practice in our proffesional lives as clinical educators. 

Course Description

The course is designed to provide an introduction to the principles of reflective practice (including reflective writing) with a group of experienced faculty and practising educators.

Learning Intentions

1. To introduce the core principles of enhanced reflective practice
2. To understand reflection better for you yourself in order to be prepared to teach it
3. To critique and reconsider reflection as an educational development process
4. To engage in the process through reviewing examples of reflective practice
5. To clarify the place of reflection in your own professional development as a practising clinician
