Course Description

The Oxford Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment and the United Nations Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) are launching a new executive education programme designed to help decision-makers anticipate change and lead the sustainability transition.

The programme explores the key political, economic, environmental, and technological drivers reshaping our economies, and the risks and opportunities these shifts present. Participants will be introduced to applied foresight tools to strengthen strategic decision-making in the face of uncertainty. The programme also examines how enterprises can remain competitive in a net-zero world and how governments can put in place an enabling policy environment. It also introduces how leadership can spark transformation from within organisations.

Achieving a sustainable future for People and the Planet urgently requires an unprecedented transformation of our economies, in which the growth of jobs, income and prosperity is driven by investments in sustainability solutions. However, while governments and businesses have made ambitious climate and biodiversity commitments, both face mounting uncertainties and financial pressures.
