Organisational Behaviour in Health Care (OBHC) Conference 2026

The conference will examine how health and care organisations navigate the demands of sustainability. Earlier conferences have considered adaptation and resistance to policy change, innovation and transformation, and the dynamics of power, leadership, and culture. This year’s focus extends these discussions by exploring what it means to sustain change within complex systems and how to use health resources—including people, technologies, and infrastructure—in responsible and sustainable ways. It also encourages broader reflection on environmental and social sustainability in the context of the climate emergency and global interdependence.

Conference fees will include SHOC membership, access to all sessions, refreshments and lunches, the pre-conference reception, and the three course College dinner at Keble College on 8 April.

A pre-conference workshop for DPhil students and early career researchers will take place on 7 April at the Gibson Building, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter. Please add this item to your basket at checkout if you wish to attend.
